Frost Woods is a beautiful neighborhood conveniently located in Monona, Wisconsin, a city within the heart of Madison.  It is located just a few miles across Lake Monona from the State Capital and downtown Madison.  Monona is proud of its beautiful wooded surroundings and lakeshore, its businesses, and the community life it has to offer.  The city offers all the benefits of a small community with the additional benefits of an urban neighbor.

Monona boasts more than 4 miles of Lake Monona shoreline and 24 parks of more than 330 acres of open space.  The city is also host to a Community Center, Swimming Pool, and amazing Recreational Services.  The Monona Public Library was named the 2010 Wisconsin Library of the Year, an award for excellence, service and innovation.  Monona is also known as a great place for community events and festivals such as the Memorial Day Parade, the Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks, and the Fall Festival.

Frost Woods is a beautiful wooded neighborhood located at the south end of Monona.  The neighborhood emphasizes social and recreational gatherings.  Although the activities have changed throughout the years as the culture and lifestyles of the community have changed, the residents still emphasize neighborhood importance through social gatherings.
