In the Spring of 2009 neighborhood volunteers helped plant the traffic island at the Owen/Midmoor Intersection. Designs were drawn up by Jane Kuzma. Many of the plants were donated by residents.
Volunteers also help to maintain the traffic island with a Mid-Spring Clean-up, watering and weeding as needed, and a Fall Clean-up. If you are interested in helping please show up on the scheduled day or pull weeds on your neighborhood walk!
